With his latest single, Cool, Zack Villere may have just scored the viral hit of the summer. This isn’t your typical summer jam though – you’ll find no mention of beach parties here. Instead, Cool is a laid back, synth-heavy ode to insecurity, a subject that we can probably all relate to.

The song’s appeal is made greater by the simplistic yet creative accompanying video, which sees Zack embracing all of his insecurities and pulling off some the best/worst dance moves we’ve seen in awhile.

Check out the video for Cool below and look out for Zack Villere’s debut album, Small World, which is due next month. We’ve also added Cool to the Discover with Mahogany playlist on Spotify, so be sure to subscribe to keep up with all our favourite new tunes.
