Wolfie’s star is definitely on the rise. With her first two singles, I Be Ghost and Come Over, she not only won the attention of the blogosphere, but also the support of influential tastemakers like Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and MistaJam. Now she’s back to share her latest offering, the seriously impressive, Drifting.

Rejecting orthodox release strategies, Wolfie instead consulted the skies and decided to share Drifting when she did because the planets had aligned themselves in her favour. After one listen, it’s easy to imagine they’d lined up in her favour back when the track was recorded too. A blend of pop, trap and hazy R&B, Drifting sees Wolfie taking an ex to task and boasts the kind of polished sound that wouldn’t sound out of place on mainstream radio.

Take a listen to Drifting below and join me in hoping we don’t have to wait too long for the planets to align again!
