Over the past 6 weeks, enigmatic newcomer The Japanese House has treated us to some seriously impressive music in the run up to the release of her debut EP. Today she’s shared another track from the forthcoming record in the shape of Sister and it’s fair to say has kept her impressive run going.

Sister starts off with The Japanese House’s signature vocoded vocals singing acapella, before layers of electronic atmospherics, percussion and moody synths are gradually added. The result is a dreamlike soundscape that gently unfurls as the song reaches its gorgeous climax. It is a simply stunning track and only reinforces the belief that The Japanese House is destined for big things.

The solo project of 19 year old Londoner, Amber Bain, The Japanese House’s debut EP, Pools To Bathe In, is out on the 27th April via Dirty Hit records. All 4 tracks from the EP are available to stream now on SoundCloud – I would strongly you advise you check them out!
