I’ve long been a lover of Jade Pybus aka Py. Since I first heard her sultry, smoky voice I was hooked and I was impressed with every track she released, her beautifully unique vocals being twisted and remixed some of UK bass music’s most notable talents – including Throwing Snow, Raffertie and Damu. However it is her own quirky pop sound that has been courting recent attention, and that is well deserved.

‘Ghostdance’ is the first release from Py in over a year, and is the first sonic taste of her upcoming 4 track Ghostdance EP. As a track it flirts with RnB, and funk, but with a strong electronic undercurrent that keeps that alternative flavour that Py is recognised for. This song sees Py at her most vocally confident; the EP already sounds like it will be well worth the wait.

Preorder the Ghostdance EP here. On general release 30th March.
