So here it is, the announcement of Part One of our 2017 Horizon series, where we have selected the artists we think have a truly golden musical year ahead of them. Don’t forget you can witness these artists do their thing live at our first show in London on the 19th January – for tickets click here.

The first artist in our line up is gravel-voiced Swedish native Albin Lee Meldau – whose poetic, bluesy music casts a sure and emotional spell. Albin released his debut EP Lovers last year to a flurry of support and praise. With influences spanning Bob Dylan, Otis Reading and The Wailers, Albin is sure to deliver his eclectic, emotional soul in force in 2017.

Robbie Cavanagh has a distinct, sweet take on Americana tinged acoustic folk. His beautiful Mahogany Session for ‘Godsend’ has racked up over 100,000 views in 2016 which are much deserved and that success amongst other positive critical reactions are paving the way for his first studio album release this year.

Charlotte OC blew everyone away with the sheer vocal power of her Mahogany Session and her stirring performance of ‘Darkest Hour’. With a captivating, dark hued delivery and depth to her lyrics, Charlotte’s tales of love and loss are truly spellbinding and we can’t wait to see her 2017 unfold.

The final artists for our first installment of Horizon 2017 are dreamy, folk three-piece Paradisia. This heavenly voiced trio possess a sisterhood of musical talent that is palpable when you watch them perform. Paradisia opened for Carole King at BST Summertime Festival in Hyde Park last year and also supported Laura Mvula, so their 2017 is looking super bright.

Horizon Part 1 will take place at the Kings Head Members Club, in Dalston East London on 19th January. Tickets are available via Dice.
