French quartet Griefjoy experienced a musical renaissance whilst planning their second album, and their latest single from the record titled ‘Lights On’ has proven that their pivot into contemporary pop music was exactly the right thing to do.

Inspired in part by the production and sounds of Ólafur Arnalds, German composer Nils Frahm and Moderat, the small studio in Paris was the melting pot for all these inspirations to collide into one body of work.

Already picked up by Zane Lowe and the Beats 1 team over in LA, the music video was delivered in partnership with Parisian agency Etudes Studio and features some clever post-production tinkering to great effect.

The album titled Godspeed is due for release on 22nd April via Sony France.
